Anya Clowers is a registered nurse, travel expert, consultant, author of the book Jet With Kids, and travel companion to her world-traveling preschooler and husband.

She works as a liaison between the medical community, travel industry, and juvenile/senior/special needs product industry, finding practical solutions for travelers. Anya and her 4 year old son fly monthly reviewing products, services, and tips as well as attending medical conferences, trade shows, media events, and speaking engagements. They also regularly meet with inventors, entrepreneurs, manufacturers, and experts.
As a Mayo Clinic trained registered nurse, Anya has implemented the team approach in her various nursing roles over the past 13 years. Over 21 Experts contributed to her book and many more are consulted in her ongoing research.
As a consultant, Anya works with major manufacturers and medical organizations offering insight into the practical and medical needs of travelers. She also acts as a consultant to entrepreneurs and inventors, assisting with implementation of products and services into multiple markets.
As an educator and speaker, Anya has provided thousands of travelers all over the world with packable peace. Her writing provides educational content for medical organizations, manufacturers, entrepreneurs, travel agents, corporations, and many other organizations in various markets. She has been interviewed by notable travel gurus Rick Steves and Peter Greenberg and is quoted in Harriet Baskas’ column The Well Mannered Traveler on MSNBC. She most recently served as a judge for the 2008 JPMA Innovation Awards in Las Vegas.

Taking her first flight as a 3 year-old, Anya has since logged over 400,000 miles.

Her son had his first wonderful flight when he was just 2 months old and they haven’t slowed-down since. He will have visited 15 countries before entering kindergarten!
As a Travel Expert and Consultant, Anya researches and reviews every aspect of flying with kids as well as products designed for family travel.
Her book Jet With Kids: Taking the Fear Out of Flying…WITH YOUR KIDS! has received praise from pediatricians, veteran pilots and flight attendants, gate agents, traveling parents, business travelers, and experts in transportation safety.
