Gone is the clunky changing table or vinyl pad – replaced by convenience, comfort, and portability!
For those many, many diaper changing moments when traveling – at grandmas, in the back of the car, in those disgusting airplane lavatories, or at the park – it is now easier than ever to not only be prepared for diaper changing on the go, but be pampered in the process!
Ah Goo Baby has mastered the “hybrid” of permanent and portable with this patented memory foam cushioned changing station.
Where did the motivation stem for the invention of this product? Mother and former Business Development and Programming Executive at NBC and Showtime, Karin Telegadis, invented a product that even the high-end diaper bags failed to provide for parents on the go.
Here were the issues she had with the existing pads on the market:
1. Made out of vinyl, the pads were often stiff and cold. Dangerous for infants to roll off, and not comfortable enough to keep babies in place!
2. How many people end up setting up a 2nd “convenience” location away from the nursery for changing infant diapers every few hours? Nobody has the time to run up and down stairs or across the house for dirty diapers. Karin states the bulky foam station she set up in her dining room was an eye sore and also rubbed the finish off the table!
3. Traveling with an infant usually means a hotel towel diaper changing station. Nothing familiar for baby and frustrating for baby and mom to keep in place.
4. Grandparents homes can quickly be overtaken by all the “stuff”. Karin envisioned a product that was “luxuriously soft enough” for the grandchildren, yet stored quickly and compactly away when grandkids went home. (Here’s a close up look at luxury!)

This luxurious changing station makes sense. Think about the hours of a babies life that are spent having diapers changed. Now imagine what that feels like on a hard, cold, slippery surface. Do you blame babies for being squirmy?
This is not only a perfect travel accessory for changing diapers since the inside is protected with the snap flaps, but this pad can also be used as extra cushioning on an airplane seat back, armrests or even sat on in flight!
The Plush Pad rolls up easily and is secured with elastic straps. It is available in a variety of patterns to suit any style. The Plush Pad is like a pillow. The water repellent cover is machine washable – just remove it from the memory foam cushion.
I recommend attaching the Plush Pad to the outside of a carry-on bag. This allows more room inside the bag as well as quick access.
Be creative with this multi-functional product – using it at the park, the beach, hotels, in strollers, on cruise ships, airports, airplanes, medical appointments (protect baby from germs at the Dr. office.) – anywhere you want to cradle your baby with luxury when your arms are busy tending to other duties!
Sometimes it’s the little luxuries in life that make the biggest difference.
One word of warning for traveling parents – this is likely to get noticed by other traveling parents in airport bathrooms – don’t miss your flight explaining to them where they also can get a PlushPad!
Congratulations Karin –
