Eating on the Go: The Baby Dipper

by Anya Clowers, RN

It can be difficult to feed infants and toddlers with one hand. That’s why busy mom Barbara Schantz created the Baby Dipper. This triangular bowl allows one- handed feeding of infants and makes self-feeding of toddlers easier.

The lower corner of the bowl is spoon shaped – no more frustration for toddlers trying to chase food around the bowl or mothers when the bowl is pushed around the table!

Mother of two sets of twins (4 year olds and newborn twins), as well as owner of 2 start-up companies, Barbara understands multi-tasking! She recommends the Baby Dipper bowl for toddlers who are feeding themselves or parents feeding babies on airplanes – the bowl that helps parents with food collection while it stays in place due to its non slip base!img_0780.jpg

Baby Dipper

The Baby Dipper is different from any bowl out there because it has all 4 of these fabulous features:

1. Non-slip base

2. Transparent Sides

3. Sloped Interior

4. Food Collection Assistance

For my nephew who is just learning to eat, this bowl was great! One of my hands was busy keeping his little hands out of the food while my other hand was quickly spooning food into his mouth.

We all know that multi-tasking is essential as a parent. Thanks to Barbara – we can do it a bit easier!

Congratulations,  Barbara! jwkapproved_medium5.jpg
