I have just returned from a fascinating 3 week trip to Europe, the Mediterranean, and Africa. I am excited to share with you the many insights I have gained from this trip. However, important business first!
While I was away, Passports with a Purpose was launched. No this is not a Midwest Farm thing… it is along the lines of “teach a man to fish…” Their goals? Ending world hunger and poverty. They work in a unique way – teaching those who suffer from hunger and poverty how to work with animals, agriculture, and their environment. They provide no interest loans, education, animals and training to help people rebuild healthy communities. Our $10 tickets go a long way when supporting Heifer International. Just 2 tickets ($20) can provide a flock of ducks, geese, or chickens to a needy family. With the support from Heifer, these gifts are those that keep giving when used correctly.
