U.S. Passport Laws: Next Passport Requirement January 2008

Quick post regarding US Passport Laws and the new passport requirement that will go into effect January 31, 2008.

For all the details of the next phase of the Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative click here.

The 2008 Summer phase (sea and land) is really going to cause a passport back up. So get your passports now. If you need to renew, do it now. And remember that all passengers (regardless of age - yes, that means infants) need a passport to fly internationally.

At least 6 months must be left on your passport before expiration to be valid internationally. Don’t wait, the rush could be much worse than this summer.
